Jen & Ryan's Engagement Story.

In January 22, 2021.

It was Ryan's Birthday! I wanted to do something special for him. What I did a special Birthday card for him. Also, Nathanael, Ashlee, and I went to HuHot with him.

When Ryan was looking at his Birthday card. Heavenly Father and Granpa Wright hit him on the head. He realized I was going to be his wife. Ryan has not said anything to me yet.

On January 24th, 2021.

Ryan went to picked me up for his dad's Birthday. It was a Birthday dinner for him and his dad. After, dinner Ryan took me home. Between, Richmond and Smithfield Ryan asked me if I wanted to moved to the next chapter? I was like, "What?" At the same time I was giddy and speechless. I think I was nodding my head and saying, "Yes!"

By the time we got home. I wanted to talk to my parents. My mother was in the family room. My dad went to bed early. Ryan asked for my mother's blessing. I told her straight out, "Mom! Ryan wants to married me." She did say both to us, "If you are really both in love." My mother promised the whole week not tell my siblings.

January 27th, 2021.

Wednesday came, Ryan did not want his mother Kim to spoiled our engagement surprised to anyone. He decided to go in separate cars and meet me later. Both of them we're heading to Logan going somewhere which I do not remember? Maybe a doctors appointment??

Ryan got to my parent's home. He asked my dad's blessing to married me. My dad was quiet and nodding his head. I told my dad I was going ring shopping before I go to work.

When it was time for ring shopping at S.E. Needham Jewelers. Ryan and I were in there for two hours to get my engagement ring. I had the hardest time finding the right ring band. Ryan did asked me what type of ring I want. I told him I wanted a diamond princess cut. We looked at different daimond cuts and which one was cleared and sparkly. While, Ryan was paying for the ring. I did not want to see the price. Ryan and the jeweler made me go look for a ring for Ryan and different types of jewelry.

On a different day we actually went back to S.E. Needhams and found a ring for him. He get's to wear it on our wedding day.

Also, Grandma Wright knew about our engagement. Ryan told her where he went and kept our engagement a secret. She given Ryan time and excused to get back to his work office.

The Next Sunday January 31, 2021.

Ryan went to get me in the morning. His Sister Stephanie wanted to meet me in person. I kept asking how is he going to surprised his mom and sisters about our engagement? I told him we are going to announced our engagement to my family Facebook Messenger and the Winward on Zoom.

We got to his parent's house. I spent the whole day with Ryan's family. Ryan had it planned out in his head when we were playing Quiplash Jackbox T.V. I went into the kitchen helping his nephew Garrett to go get cake. I did not want him have the rest of the cake or make a huge mess.

Ryan was looking for me and yelling my nickname I yelled back, "I'm in the kitchen Honey Bear!" I hurried back to the family room and sat down. He kneeled down next to me. I heard a loud thud. Kim thought he hurted his knee. His last question popped up on the screen.

Ryan is a mad genius when it comes to surprises.

His mom and sisters were screaming. I told them, "No this is not a joke!" Holly was fumbling with her phone trying to record the whole thing. As for his dad Roger was in the basement in his man cave. He thought we were playing Secret Hitler.

When we called my family on Facebook Messenger. My dad a had a really happy face on. Yes! My family got really excited for us.
